Cricket Shoe Size Guide (UK Sizes)
Heega shoes are UK sizes. Measure the foot in millimetres and read the size off — the table below gives a range for every size, so a foot length has exactly one answer rather than falling between two rows.
Take the measurement first

From the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe, in millimetres.
Stand with the heel against a wall, weight on the foot, and measure to the tip of the longest toe — which is not always the big toe. Measure both feet and use the larger.
Between two sizes: Take the larger size. Measure late in the day, when the foot is at its biggest.

Three things that change the number
- Measure both feet and use the larger. Most people have one foot a few millimetres longer than the other, and the shoe has to fit that one.
- Measure late in the day. A foot is at its biggest after you have been on it, which is also when you will be batting.
- Measure standing, with your weight on the foot. A foot measured sitting down is shorter than the foot that will be in the shoe.

Ranges are inclusive and run end to end in whole millimetres, so measure to the nearest millimetre and your foot length has exactly one answer. The published conversion is the single figure each range is centred on, given so you can check ours against a number you have seen elsewhere.
Where these ranges come from
Foot lengths are published as ranges, not point values, so every measurement has exactly one answer. Each range was set by bisecting between the adjacent published UK conversions — needs owner confirmation before publication.

- A foot measuring 10.16 in to 10.35 in (258 mm to 263 mm) takes Heega UK 8. UK 8 is US 9 and EU 42.

Most published shoe charts give one figure per size — 254 mm for one size, 260 for the next. That works as a conversion lookup and fails as a fitting guide, which is what you actually want it for: a foot measuring 257 mm matches neither row, and the chart has no answer. Ours publishes the band, so every millimetre between the smallest and largest listed size belongs to exactly one shoe.
UK 3 to UK 6
UK 4, 5 and 6 are on the site alongside the adult run, and UK 3 is available to order. None of the junior sizes has a published foot-length band yet, so send us the foot length in millimetres and we will confirm the size before the pair is made.

No foot-length band is published for these sizes because we have not measured one. Send us the millimetres and we cut the pair to it — that is more accurate than a band, not less.
A twelve-year-old usually needs roughly UK 3 to UK 6, which is where most of the asks we get sit. If you are buying for a child, this is the section you want — and the asks we get here are what decide which junior sizes go on the site next.

- Cricket shoes: take the larger size. The foot swells through an innings and slides forward on the front foot. A shoe a half-size long costs you nothing; a shoe a half-size short costs you a toenail.

Does Heega make junior cricket shoe sizes?
Yes. UK 4, 5 and 6 are on the site now, and UK 3 is available to order — a twelve-year-old usually needs roughly UK 3 to UK 6, so the junior end is where most of those buyers are. We have not published a foot-length band for the junior sizes yet, so send us the foot length in millimetres and we will confirm the size rather than round a child up into an adult shoe.
